Onewheel Pint Not Turning On?
Did you leave your Onewheel Pint in storage for an extended period of time?
Trying to turn it on to find nothing happens when you press the button, and the light on the charger remains green when plugged in?
If so, the likely culprit is that your Onewheel Pint battery has gone below It's minimum voltage threshold to turn on and is remaining off to protect the rider from a potential failure. The Onewheel Pint has a 54 V battery. It needs a minimum of around 25 volts to power on. If left for several months at a time, the board can drop below this voltage. If the board is stored in a garage or any other cold area, it can drop quicker. Check here for how to store your board for an extended period of time.
Although some riders have reported that they can manually charge their battery to get it working again, this is a very unsafe option and can potentially lead to a risk of fire. The board is not powering on as the cells are likely very out of balance, and the board will purposefully not charge with consideration to the safety of the battery and the rider.
